Products for hair growth can work best when they are natural products. You hair is a living thing and needs to be nourished. In terms of your hair you have to make sure to take both vitamins and minerals, which will help your hair grow and make your hair healthier.

There are many hair care products that are on the market today. Some are pricier than others and some make claims that are just not true. Some of the products in this article may help you grow hair and some may not, but these are some of the products that may help you grow hair.

Xandrox is a type of hair growth product that is a high strength Minoxidil, which is the active ingredient in the hair growth product Rogaine.  Studies have shown that Xandrox will help with hair growth. There are two different formulas for Xandrox 12.5%. It is a white lotion that contains 12.5% micronized Minoxidil, which means that the Minoxidil has been finely ground that makes the product stronger. The second product is Xandrox and contains 5% Axelieic Acid that has also shown to be a DHT inhibitor, which is the hormone that can cause men to lose their hair.

Tricomin Therapy Spray is used in conjunction with shampoo and conditioner. This therapy spray is water based and easily drips off the scalp and because of this men must message the Tricomin into their scalp. Tricomin claims to help with hair growth but there have not been any definitive studies that have showed it, and it is not approved by the FDA.

There is a cheaper and generic version of Rogiane 5, which is called Headway 5. There is really no difference in the two products except for the price and the name. They both have the exact same consistency and smell very much alike. Headway 5 is from New Zealand and is usually about $10 cheaper than Rogaine 5.

There is an inexpensive brand of hair growth product from Wal Mart called Equate, which contains 2% Minoxidil. Equate comes with a dropper and a pump spray attachment, which other generic Minoxidil products generally do not have. You can use Equate by spraying it on the scalp or by dropping it on the scalp. The Equate is one of the cheaper brands of 2% generic Minoxidil products on the market.

There is also a 2% Minoxidil formula produced by Bausch and Laumb. Many grocery store chains and drug store chains carry this product. It comes with a dropper and comes in either a pack of one or two. Bausch and Laumb product is from one of the more respected brands of pharmaceuticals and may work in growing hair.

These products may work in either slowing down the hair loss process or growing new hair in areas of the scalp that have stopped growing hair. The primary ingredient in these hair growth products are usually 2% Minoxidil or higher. These products can be bought over the counter but if you want a stronger concentration of Minoxidil you have to get it with a doctor’s prescription. Before you use any type of hair growth product you should check with your doctor to see if it will be safe to use.
